Mission Statement: The purpose of the Michigan Music Conference is to provide relevant professional development and vibrant musical experiences that support music education for educators and their students.

A unique component of the Michigan Music Conference has been the Technology Pre-Conference. Unfortunately, for 2013 this will not occur. The Michigan Music Conference Board of Directors sincerely apologizes as we fully realize it has become a valuable asset to the overall Conference and all attendees.

There will be, for 2013, a limited selection of technology sessions. Please continue to check the Program Information for continuing updated information.

Additional and unique components of the Michigan Music Conference are the Thursday Pre-Conference events featuring the Conducting Symposium, Suzuki Teaching Training, MMEA Elementary General Music Workshop, Let's All Dance! Folk Dances That Work in Any Classroom, MASTA/MSBOA Teacher Orchestra, and the Research Symposium. We know everyone can find something of interest in the extra, in-depth workshops.
